Murals can be done almost anywhere, and you really can't go wrong if you decide on a full wall, a partial wall or anything in-between. Every time I paint a mural, I am floored by the physical change that happens in the room.

I've found that the magic of murals can't truly be captured in photos.

How do you decide what to paint?

When you book a mural with me, I will start by collecting your ideas and hearing what you are envisioning for the project. I use a digital drawing software to come up with mockups for you to make sure that we are on the same page. Generally the designs that I come up with are a combination of my artistic flare and your idea as the recipient of the mural. 

How much do you charge for a mural?

I charge custom amounts for each mural, depending on what the content of the design will entail and the level of detail you are looking for. I charge a flat rate based on the square footage of the area I will be painting. Get in touch with me here to talk about pricing for your project!

Do you travel?

I generally stick within the Reno, NV area, but I am open to traveling! If you book me to travel for a mural, cost of travel will be included in the agreed upon price.

Do I have to be ready to book to receive a quote?

No, I would be happy to provide an idea of pricing, even if you do not book with me right away. I will need a general idea for the design and a size estimate, and I will give you a price range based on that. Quotes will last for 60 days. After that time, I reserve the right to update quotes based on current costs.

What kind of paint do you use?

I primarily use interior house paint. However, if your mural will be outside, I will adjust the paint type I use accordingly to ensure best quality and longevity. I purchase colors as close to our digital sketch as possible, but often mix colors to achieve the look I think will work best in your space. 

Will you duplicate exact designs from photos?

You are more than welcome to send me inspiration photos for your piece that I can draw from. However, I will come up with something unique for you, and will not copy designs exactly from other artists.

How long do murals take you to paint?

I have mostly experienced murals taking 3-4 days thus far. The amount of time a mural will take will ultimately depend on the level of detail in your design & how large the mural will be. Once I have a good idea of your design, I will be able to estimate how long it will take me on your piece. I always estimate longer than I believe it will take for your convenience.
